Wool is a 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable animal fibre, known for its softness, strength and versatility. Wool is naturally breathable, elastic and thermoregulatory: it reacts to body temperature changes by keeping warm when it’s cold and dispersing heat and humidity when it’s hot.
TRACED SUPPLY CHAIN
ICA Yarns, thanks to the partnership with Schneider Group, uses wool from Australia which is exclusively certified by Authentico®. This guarantees the complete traceability of the production chain and ensures that the wool is 100% mulesing-free.
The spinning takes place in Italy with a technique patented by ICA Yarns that takes inspiration from the cotton world and allows to obtain a very fine, regular and resistant wool yarn called Hemotion®.
