NOBLE AND RARE

Silk is a rare, precious and noble fibre of animal origin, deriving from the cocoon produced by silkworms. Used in China as early as the dawn of time, most of the silk today is produced in Asian countries.

For its yarns, ICA Yarns uses the precious and resistant Mulberry silk – a shiny and slippery kind of silk, with very fine and linear filaments.

FEATURES

The silk fibre is soft, light and at the same time elastic and resistant, but its shininess is certainly its most appreciated quality. In addition, silk absorbs moisture well and is very insulating, keeping the heat during the winter and cool during the summer.
