ICA YARNS PRESENTS AT FILO THE NEW S/S 2023 YARN COLLECTION

Research, innovation and quality for evermore precious, traced and sustainable yarns.

Filo – MiCo Milano Convention Centre– 7/8 ottobre – Stand A11

ICA Yarns presents the novelties of its high-end yarn collection for Spring / Summer 2023, which focuses on noble, sustainable and traceable fibers, at the 54th edition of Filo.

Thanks to the careful research, the selection of the best materials in the world, the long experience acquired in the direct cultivation of cotton in Egypt, Barbados and the United States and to the strong partnerships established with local farmers, ICA gives life to a revolutionary project: the new Biofusion® yarn.

Made with a blend of organic American cottons, more precisely Supima® and Upland cotton, Biofusion® is a GOTS certified and scientifically traceable yarn, thanks to a highly innovative method developed by Oritain™, the world leader in forensic science. Thanks to this project, the final product can be traced from the cultivation field to the point of sale: a guarantee of the origin, but also of the quality and the ethical and sustainable production of the yarn.

In addition to Biofusion®, the new ICA collection offers the first recycled product in very fine yarn counts: Retwist™ is a GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certified recycled cotton yarn.

Another important novelty of this collection is the mélange yarn proposal, made with Biofusion® organic cotton, 100% Supima® cotton or cellulosic fibers.

To enrich the summer proposal there is also a wide range of blended fancy yarns, in mélange, crêpe and voile versions.

“Innovation, research and sustainability – explains Daniele Arioldi, President of I Cotoni di Albini – are the values that underlie the production of ICA, widely recognized by customers as a reference point for the supply of superior quality yarns, a typical expression of Made in Italy and for the excellent service”.
