On 18-20 November Supima has held the 2020 Supima Harvest Symposium, an immersive three-day program featuring a combination of virtual farming visits and panel discussions about transparent farming practices, sustainability and marketing.
The SHS program schedule included a panel discussion on “Authenticity – Exploring the Fingerprint”, featuring Daniele Arioldi, ICA President & CEO, Marc Lewkowitz, Supima President & CEO, and Ben Tomkins, Oritain Senior Business Development Manager.
Using forensic sciences, Oritain provides the first platform that can be used to verify the origin of a cotton. ICA and Supima have come together to use Oritain to authenticate the Supima cotton from the fiber to yarn and fabric and all the way to the finished product.
