CASHMERE & CASHMERE BLENDS

Cashmere

Cashmere is one of the most precious and noble animal fibres that gives an immediate feeling of warmth and softness.

Cashmere fibres are obtained from the under-fleece of a specific species of goat, commonly called cashmere goat. To protect themselves from the cold and severe climate, cashmere goats have two fleeces: a superficial one, made up of coarse hair, and one closer to the body, made of a short, thin and warm fluff from which cashmere is obtained.

Wood and pulp used by the Lenzing Group comes from semi-natural forests and sustainably managed plantations. All LENZING™ fibres are available with FSC® (C041246) or PEFC™ certification upon request.
